Well, after hoping and waiting and praying for most of a year, Ruth and I are now pregnant. Well Ruth is anyhow, but I'm going to be a Daddy. That is so cool! No more thoughts about joining the massive adoption queue -number one is on its way! It's a terrific feeling, knowing that bubs is already forming as I type.
We're about nine weeks into it all now - and we've known for almost four weeks. We've told a few people - you can't help it now and again - but mostly we've tried to just tell close family - and ..... It is hard not to say anything, but pretty cool also to have this awesome secret.
Ruth has been fairly sick with morning sickness - nausea etc - but she reckons it is mild compared to what others talk about.
