Elizabeth is growing up nicely. She is one now and had a very small party to celebrate. Ellis took her first steps 8 days before her birthday, with many friends watching at SIzzling Mongolian. She can stand up by herself, and occaisonannly takes a few steps, but not very often yet. SHe still prefers crawling around and holding onto walls as she walks - it can get her anywhere she likes. Climbing stairs are fun too.

She has been talking for a fair while now. She has a fairly simple vocabulary, but she uses them quite a lot. Currently she likes saying...

Ta (thank you, please, give that to me - her first real word with meaning)
Hiya (to say hi to people)
Uh oh! (When she drops something, even though it is deliberate)
dop dop (She drops lots of things, so needs more ways to describe it)
Dadda (normally for Dad, but sometimes she uses it for Mummy too)
No (when she doesn't want something, normally with a head shake too)
Quack (What does a duck say?)
woof (a breathy sound - what does a dog say?)
and occasionally Hallelujah and tickle tickle tickle

Ellie is growing into a lovely young lady that brings joy to everyone she is around. She is still very happy, loves playing with people and has a wonderful personality.
